# 3 - Portia de Rossi

The only time I'm ever going to say this to you Ellen: SCREW. YOU. BITCH.
like wow, talk about having a smokin' hot wife. For a 36 year old woman, she is PRIME.

Some may remember her as Nelle Prter from Alley McBeal, or more recently as Lindsay Bluth Fünke on the sitcom Arrested Development. Born in Australia (yes, furthering my thesis that all Australians are born georgous) as Amanda Lee Rogers on 31 January 1973, she took on the name Portia at 15 (after Shakespeare's The Merchant of Venice. She was actually married to the male documentary filmmaker Mel Metcalfe from 1996 to 1999 (in part as a plan to get a green card), but came out to the public after the tabloids outed her shortly after Alley McBeal ended. From 2000 to 2004, de Rossi dated singer Francesca Gregorini, daughter of actress Barbara Bach and stepchild of Ringo Starr. She declined to publicly discuss the relationship or her sexual orientation at the time.

De Rossi and Gregorini broke up in late 2004 as de Rossi began dating Ellen DeGeneres, whom she met backstage at an awards show, and married said Ellen on August 16, 2008 at their home (a tragic day for me) with a shocking mere 19 guests in attendance. AND they are both vegan. (I just had to put that out there as a fellow sufferer of the meatless varietel.)

We'll forgive her for struggling with the eating disorder anorexia nervosa for four years while filming Ally McBeal, I mean anyone who hangs around Calista Flockhart that much is bound to have some negative side effects. And apparently she's a humanitarian, who supports African AIDS relief and The Art of Elysium for terminally ill children? I just hope she's more real then her breats/hair colour.
